 History 

Whelan's Coffee & Ice Cream is a family-owned and operated business.  The Whelan family has been part of the Oconomowoc Community for four generations.  We are a new business, open since June 2007 and look forward to many years of providing a quality product, service and a community atmosphere in beautiful Downtown Oconomowoc. Our coffeehouse reflects our community spirit with photos of Oconomowoc Landmarks, conversations and event happenings.

Overview

We have created a comfortable setting for all to come and relax and enjoy life's simple pleasures, a cup of delicious custom blended coffee, a specialty espresso drink or a creamy homemade ice cream treat. Building your awareness of an exceptional specialty coffee drink in both flavor and technique is our job that we take seriously.   We serve local homemade bakery both organic and wholesome.  We offer a multitude of choices of delicious ice creams, sherbets, ices, soy and organic (special order)  with seasonal and regular favorites. Chocolate Shoppe Ice Cream is home made in Madison , Wisconsin.  Ancora is our award-winning Coffee Roaster, we offer both Organic and Fair Trade options   Check out the Menu Page to see our monthly specialty drinks and ice cream creations.
